According to a recent press release from Sturges' sponsor, Teva:

Long-time athlete Rush Sturges took a first place win in Germany at the 13th Annual Rosenheim Kayaking Film Festival for his new movie “Dream Result.” The Rosenheim festival is the largest event of its kind in Europe and kicked off a worldwide tour for Sturges’ film.

Sturges, one of Teva's new 'Life Agents,' and his co-producer Tyler Bradt assembled a team of the world’s best kayakers for “Dream Result.” The film documents paddling expeditions to Canada, Iceland and Norway where the paddlers push the limits of their sport on some of the planet’s most challenging and unexplored whitewater. “Dream Result” also features the story of Bradt’s successful world-record descent of 186-foot Palouse Falls in Washington State.

"It is an honor to win this award, and it was awesome to see some of the other films from this year,” states Sturges. “Certainly the level of competition has been raised in terms of both paddling and cinematography. This is a great start to our film tour!"

In addition to being a world-class kayaker and renowned filmmaker, Sturges is an accomplished hip hop artist. After he impressed the crowd of over 1,000 kayaking fans in Rosenheim with his new movie, Sturges wowed everyone with a live performance of an original song he wrote for the film.

Next stop on the “Dream Result” world tour is a premier in London. For more information about the film visit www.dreamresultmovie.com .
